Holden Rodeo III (RA) gallery (2003–2008)

The third and final generation of the Rodeo utility based on the first-generation Isuzu D-Max platform.

The third-generation Holden Rodeo (RA series) debuted in early 2003, built on the first-generation Isuzu D-Max architecture, and remained on sale until 2008. The RA brought substantial increases in cabin space, structural rigidity, and refined road manners compared to its predecessor. Available in Single Cab, Space Cab, and Crew Cab layouts with both rear-wheel drive and shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive, the RA series was a staple commercial utility in Australasia. Engine choices initially comprised a 2.4-liter petrol four-cylinder, a 3.5-liter Isuzu 6VE1 V6 (147 kW), and a 3.0-liter 4JH1-TC turbo-diesel. In 2006, the petrol V6 was replaced by Holden Australian-made 3.6-liter Alloytec V6 (157 kW). A comprehensive 2007 facelift updated the front fascia and introduced the advanced 3.0-liter 4JJ1-TCX common-rail intercooled turbo-diesel engine producing 120 kW and 360 Nm. Following the corporate separation of General Motors and Isuzu in 2008, the Rodeo name was retired and succeeded by the Holden Colorado.
