GMC Hummer EV SUV I gallery (2023–present)

First generation of the Ultium-based electric super-SUV, offered with dual- and tri-motor powertrains and rugged off-road tech.

The first-generation GMC Hummer EV SUV is built on GM's Ultium BT1 dedicated electric architecture featuring an 800-volt electrical system. The SUV features a five-door, five-passenger body riding on a 126.7-inch wheelbase—nearly 9 inches shorter than the pickup variant—which drastically improves approach, departure, and breakover angles in rugged off-road environments. It comes standard with four-wheel steer and adaptive air ride suspension.

The all-electric powertrain roster includes the dual-motor 2X configuration generating up to 625 horsepower and the tri-motor 3X setup delivering up to 830 horsepower and an estimated 11,500 lb-ft of wheel torque. Ultium battery packs provide over 300 miles of driving range along with ultra-fast DC charging capabilities.

For the 2027 model year, the Hummer EV SUV adopts a native NACS charging port for simplified high-speed charging network access and introduces the commemorative Icon 25 Edition honoring 25 years since the Hummer H2 launch, featuring exclusive Icon Yellow exterior paint, 22-inch dark wheels, specialized cabin trim, and heritage-inspired infotainment graphics.
