Ford Territory II (CX743) gallery (2018–present)

The second-generation Ford Territory (factory code CX743) was officially introduced in 2018 as a joint development between Ford and China's Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC). Constructed on a modified vehicle architecture derived from the Yusheng S330 crossover, this model shares no mechanical or structural ties with the previous Australian-built SUV of the same name. Designed as an accessible family vehicle for urban environments, it is exported from China to markets across Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Philippines, and the Middle East. In 2020, Ford expanded the lineup with the fully electric Territory EV variant, followed in 2022 by a second Chinese iteration based on the Ford Equator Sport, which retained the Territory badge in global export markets.

Power is provided by a 1.5-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine generating 140 hp and 225 Nm of torque, paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Certain international markets also received a 48-volt mild-hybrid (MHEV) powertrain variant designed to enhance overall fuel efficiency. Drive is routed exclusively to the front wheels, and the model is offered solely as a five-door SUV. The spacious interior features a digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, and the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of driver assistance features. The CX743 generation successfully established Ford's footprint in the budget compact crossover sector.
