About this generation

The second-generation S-MAX on the CD4 platform added intelligent AWD, matrix LED lighting, and hybrid options.

Unveiled for 2015 on the CD4 architecture, the S-MAX Mk2 updated its aggressive profile with Ford's hexagonal grille and adaptive anti-glare LED headlamps. Interior versatility expanded with power-folding rear seats, massaging front seats, and digital cluster integration with SYNC software.
