Daewoo Nubira II (J200) gallery (2002–2008)

The second generation Nubira developed under GM Daewoo, styled by Pininfarina and marketed alongside the Lacetti.

The second-generation Nubira, designated J200, debuted in late 2002 representing the first fully integrated product from the newly formed GM Daewoo alliance. The exterior styling for the sedan and station wagon bodystyles was penned by Italy's Pininfarina studio, whereas the five-door hatchback received completely unique front and rear styling by Italdesign Giugiaro. In its domestic South Korean market, the car was badged as the Daewoo Lacetti, but in several European and international markets the sedan and wagon maintained the Daewoo Nubira nameplate through 2005. The J200 rode on a completely modern front-wheel-drive architecture with all-around independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes. Engine options encompassed 1.4-liter (95 hp), 1.6-liter (109 hp), 1.8-liter (122 hp), and 2.0-liter (133 hp) petrol units, along with a 2.0-liter common-rail turbodiesel. Transmissions included a five-speed manual and automatic gearboxes supplied by Aisin and ZF.
