About this generation
The eighth generation of the Imperial received a completely independent design, distancing itself from regular Chrysler models.
This car became a symbol of the 'Forward Look' era, distinguished by its huge dimensions and expressive style. The introduction of panoramic windshields and powerful V8s made this model one of the most notable in the luxury car market of the mid-50s in the US.
