About this generation
The eleventh generation Imperial, known for 'Fuselage styling'.
'Fuselage' design implied smooth body lines resembling an aircraft fuselage. These massive cars offered a maximum level of comfort and were equipped with powerful V8s, representing the peak of dimensions for full-size luxury Chrysler sedans before the crisis.
