The second-generation Chery Arrizo 7 was officially revealed in August 2026 at the Chengdu Motor Show, reviving the model name after an eight-year hiatus. The new car shifts away from its predecessor's conventional three-box silhouette in favor of a dynamic four-door fastback shape with a sloping roofline. The exterior styling incorporates distinct premium German design influences, highlighted by a bold hexagonal front radiator grille, slender LED headlights, and horizontal taillights spanning the rear fascia.

Underpinned by a front-wheel-drive chassis, the generation slots directly between the Arrizo 8 and Arrizo 8 Pro sedans. Unlike many contemporary Chinese market competitors, the second-generation Arrizo 7 relies strictly on internal combustion petrol engines with turbocharging, completely bypassing hybrid and plug-in hybrid electrification options.
