First generation of the Changan Nevo Q05 compact crossover featuring electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
The first-generation Changan Nevo Q05 debuted as the inaugural crossover within the brand's new energy vehicle portfolio. Built on a modular front-wheel-drive platform, the five-door unibody SUV has an overall length of 4,435 mm and a wheelbase of 2,656 mm. The chassis utilizes an independent suspension setup with MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link arrangement at the rear. The styling is defined by an enclosed front grille, slim LED headlights, and aerodynamic body panels.
The all-electric variant features a front-mounted electric motor generating 163 hp (120 kW) and a 51.9 kWh battery pack that provides a driving range of up to 506 km. The plug-in hybrid version pairs a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric drive motor. The cabin comes equipped with a digital instrument cluster, a widescreen infotainment display, and an array of electronic driver assistance features.
