Changan Nevo Q06 SUV Secures 35,000 Orders in First 24 Hours

Changan has launched sales of the Nevo Q06 crossover in the Chinese market. According to CarNewsChina, 35,000 pre-orders were placed for the model in just the first 24 hours after sales began. The vehicle's price in China starts at 139,900 yuan, which is approximately equivalent to 1.7 million rubles. The BYD Song Ultra stands as the newcomer's primary market rival.

Buyers are offered both all-electric and hybrid versions. Base electric versions of the crossover are equipped with a single motor producing 306 or 333 hp. A more powerful variant features a dual-motor powertrain delivering a total output of 449 hp. The driving range of the electric Changan Nevo Q06 on a single charge varies from 602 to 700 km.

The hybrid modification operates as a series hybrid: a 1.5-liter gasoline internal combustion engine is used solely as a generator to replenish the traction battery. The total output of the hybrid reaches 367 hp, while its maximum combined driving range reaches up to 1,600 km.

The crossover's exterior and styling were crafted under the direction of head designer Klaus Zyciora, who previously led the design division of the Volkswagen Group. Interior equipment includes a built-in refrigerator, a ceiling-mounted screen for rear passengers, support for ultra-fast charging, as well as seats with ventilation and massage functions.

Going forward, the brand plans to launch the Nevo Q06 into international markets. The Chinese automaker operates officially in Russia and intends to expand its lineup by the end of 2026, though direct confirmation of the Q06 launching in the Russian market has not yet been received.
