Changan Eado III gallery (2023–present)

The third generation Changan Eado debuted in late 2023 as a modern compact sedan. Constructed upon Changan latest Ark Architecture modular platform, the chassis delivers increased torsional rigidity and a lowered center of gravity with independent MacPherson front struts and a multi-link rear suspension. The exterior presents a fastback profile with flush pop-out door handles and slim LED headlamp assemblies. Power is supplied by a 1.5-liter Blue Whale turbocharged four-cylinder engine generating 170 horsepower, coupled with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The plug-in hybrid PHEV variant features Changan iDD propulsion technology, matching a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor to achieve a combined driving range exceeding 1200 kilometers. Inside the cabin, a portrait-oriented 13.2-inch infotainment screen dominates the dash alongside a narrow 10-inch digital instrument cluster and an oval steering wheel rim. The third-generation model is retailed in domestic Chinese dealerships and exported throughout Eurasia and the Middle East.
