Changan CS55 Plus I gallery (2019–2021)

The first generation of the Changan CS55 Plus compact crossover was produced from 2019 to 2021, showcasing aggressive styling and a refined turbo powertrain.

Debuting at the Guangzhou Auto Show in late 2019, the first-generation Changan CS55 Plus was introduced as a sportier and more premium iteration of the original CS55 crossover. The vehicle featured a bold front grille design, slim LED headlights, and a continuous rear light bar inspired by Changan's latest SUV design language. Underneath the body, it utilized a fully independent suspension layout with front MacPherson struts and a multi-link rear axle for balanced riding comfort. Drive was delivered exclusively to the front wheels via a 1.5-liter Blue Core turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine generating 156 horsepower. Transmission options comprised a six-speed manual gearbox and a smooth six-speed Aisin automatic. Inside, the cabin accommodated a digital instrument cluster, a widescreen infotainment touchscreen, red stitching accents, and dual-zone climate control. Standard safety features included electronic stability control, hill descent assist, and multiple airbags. Production of this generation continued until 2021.
