Launching in 2011, the F10 M5 embraced turbocharging with the 4.4-liter S63 twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering massive torque from low engine speeds. Power was routed through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (M-DCT) to the rear wheels via an Active M Differential.

With subtle fender vents, quad exhausts, and muscular front bumper ducts, the F10 combined menacing highway presence with exceptional long-range comfort. Special editions like the Competition Package and 30 Jahre M5 pushed power output up to an astonishing 600 hp.
