Introduced in 2014, the F80 designated the M3 exclusively as a four-door sedan (with coupes becoming the M4). Its bulging rear fenders, aggressively vented front bumper, carbon-composite driveshaft, and carbon-fiber roof created an extraordinarily menacing visual footprint.

Power came from the S55 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six, delivering instantaneous low-end torque and relentless top-end pull. Combined with lightweight carbon-composite chassis components, the F80 proved a ferocious track tool that embraced modern forced induction without losing its edge.
