BMW iX4 I photos

The first generation of the BMW iX4 arrives as a swoopy electric crossover built on BMW's next-generation Neue Klasse platform, expanding the brand's dedicated EV lineup alongside the new iX3. Featuring sixth-generation eDrive propulsion technology, the crossover pairs coupe-like proportions with aerodynamic bodywork, iconic kidney grilles, twin headlights, and standard M Sport trim with 20-inch alloy wheels. The cabin introduces the advanced Panoramic iDrive system centered around a prominent 17.9-inch touchscreen display.

The lineup consists of two dual-motor all-wheel-drive configurations. The entry-level iX4 50 xDrive produces 463 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. It is equipped with a 112.2-kWh usable battery pack offering an estimated driving range of up to 428 miles. The range-topping iX4 M60 xDrive pushes output to 603 hp and 645 lb-ft of torque, dropping the 0-60 mph sprint to 3.7 seconds while adding Adaptive M Suspension, an electronically controlled M Sport differential, and distinct exterior styling.
