BMW i3 II (NA0) gallery (2026–present)

The i3 name returns on a Neue Klasse electric saloon: 800V architecture, up to 912 km of WLTP range and 400 kW charging.

The second-generation i3 was unveiled on 18 March 2026 and shares nothing but its name with the 2013 hatchback. The NA0 is a compact executive electric saloon on the Neue Klasse platform, the second series-production car of that family after the iX3, and BMW's electric successor to the 3 Series. Merged twin kidneys with dual headlights define the exterior, while the cabin introduces iDrive X with the full-width Panoramic Vision projection.

A 108.7 kWh battery and 800V architecture deliver up to 912 km WLTP and charging at up to 400 kW, taking the car from 10 to 80 percent in 21 minutes. The all-wheel-drive version produces 463 hp and 645 Nm. Series production started in August 2026 at the Munich plant, retooled for electric cars, while a 108 mm longer version is built for China at the BBA joint venture. A Touring estate was teased at the launch.
