About the model
The Audi Q3 debuted in 2011 with the first-generation 8U. Built as a five-door SUV on the PQ35 platform with a transverse engine layout, it was equipped with turbocharged TFSI petrol and TDI diesel engines. The drivetrain offered manual transmissions or S tronic dual-clutch gearboxes, combined with front-wheel drive or the quattro all-wheel-drive system.
The second-generation F3 arrived in 2018, transitioning to the modular MQB platform. The crossover grew in dimensions, gained a more spacious interior with digital displays, updated powertrains, and improved dual-clutch transmissions. A mid-cycle refresh refined the exterior styling, updated the LED lighting, and expanded driver-assistance systems.
In 2025, the third-generation FJ entered production. Retaining its versatile SUV body style, the model introduced an updated architecture optimized for electrified and hybrid powertrains, a redesigned multimedia interface, and modern driving technologies.
