An ultra-exclusive front-engine coupe powered by an 838-hp twin-turbo V12 engine, crafted by Q by Aston Martin and limited to 150 units worldwide.
Officially unveiled during Monterey Car Week in August 2026, the Aston Martin Valen is an ultra-exclusive front-engine supercar crafted by the Q by Aston Martin bespoke division and engineered by the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team as a successor in spirit to the manual-equipped Valour and track-focused Valiant. Underpinned by a heavily revised version of the core V12 architecture from the flagship Vanquish, the coupe incorporates a solid-mounted rear subframe, semi-active Bilstein DTX dampers, standard 21-inch magnesium wheels, and carbon-ceramic brakes. Its bespoke carbon-fiber bodywork shares no exterior panels with regular production models and adopts sharp angular styling, a prominent front splitter, tri-finned side strakes, an exposed rear diffuser framing 325-section rear tires, and a solid tailgate that eliminates the rear window while covering a 6-cubic-foot cargo area. Extensive weight-saving measures shed up to 242 pounds (110 kg) compared to the standard V12 platform, a figure that includes a 37-pound (16.9 kg) reduction achieved through an optional lightweight suspension package featuring machined solid aluminum arms, knuckles, and titanium chassis hardware. Power comes from a modified 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged DOHC 48-valve V12 petrol engine producing 838 horsepower and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque—14 hp more than the Vanquish and 104 hp more than the Valiant—making it the most powerful front-engine V12 production car in the British marque's history. Unlike its six-speed manual predecessors, the rear-wheel-drive Valen is paired exclusively with a rear-mounted eight-speed ZF automatic transaxle utilizing shift logic and software borrowed directly from the Vantage GT4 race car program, complete with calibrated throttle mapping across Sport, Sport+, and Track driving modes. The coupe accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.1 seconds (0 to 60 mph in an estimated 3.0 seconds) and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 214 mph (344–345 km/h). A bespoke full-titanium exhaust system routed beneath and behind the seats exits through quad tailpipes and increases exterior sound levels by 50 percent over the Vanquish across the rev range without artificial sound augmentation. Inside, the cabin features reduced acoustic insulation, 3D-printed trim elements, a slimmer driver-focused center console sharing switchgear with the Valhalla, and a choice between adjustable Sport Plus seats or lightweight carbon-fiber bucket seats. Priced from approximately $2,000,000 (£1,500,000) before personalization, all 150 worldwide build slots were allocated ahead of production and customer deliveries scheduled for 2027.
