About this generation

The fourth-generation Acura Integra (DE4) has been produced since 2022 as a five-door liftback based on the 11th-gen Civic platform.

Revived in 2022 for the 2023 model year after a two-decade hiatus, the fourth-generation Acura Integra (DE4 chassis) succeeded the ILX as Acura's entry-level premium performance model. Built as a five-door liftback hatchback on Honda's 11th-generation global architecture, it features Acura's Diamond Pentagon grille, Chicane LED lighting accents, and bespoke body paneling. Engineering priorities for this generation focused on structural rigidity, chassis refinement, and elevating active safety capabilities.

The standard powertrain is a 1.5-liter turbocharged L15CA inline-four engine producing 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque, paired with either a continuously variable transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission featuring automatic rev-matching and a limited-slip differential. In 2023, the high-performance Type S variant joined the lineup with a 320-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged K20C1 engine, wide-body fenders, adaptive dampers, and triple exhaust outlets. A comprehensive list of standard features combined with proven powertrain durability helped secure a strong market presence in its segment.
