2026 Acura Integra Retains Its Winning Formula with Modest Updates
The Acura Integra has consistently been lauded as a practical and efficient hatchback, surpassing the Honda Civic it’s based on while being more enjoyable and affordable than its luxury compact rivals. For the 2026 model year, Acura has opted to preserve the core attributes that make the Integra beloved, implementing only a few refinements.
The most notable upgrade is the switch to a 9.0-inch central infotainment display, replacing the previous 7.0-inch version. Additionally, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration are now standard, along with a wireless phone charger—features that were once exclusive to the top-tier A-Spec Technology Package. While these enhancements may not be groundbreaking, they align the Integra with its new crossover counterpart, the ADX, adding valuable conveniences.
Interior Refinements
Internally, the Integra receives new blue suede accents for the light Orchid trim, and A-Spec models gain enhanced ambient lighting and updated dashboard finishes. Beyond these additions, the interior remains largely unchanged, which is beneficial as many of Acura’s European competitors have been aggressively cutting costs.
Exterior Enhancements
On the exterior, A-Spec trims are equipped with a larger splitter, new side skirts, and a redesigned 18-inch wheel. Acura has also introduced three new color options: Solar Silver Metallic, Urban Gray Metallic, and Double Apex Blue Pearl. Furthermore, red and blue Integra A-Spec models now feature color-matched grilles as standard, with black grilles available as an accessory. Similarly, gray and white models offer the option of color-matched grilles.
Performance and Pricing
The mechanical aspects of the Integra remain unchanged, featuring a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 200 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque, paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). For enthusiasts, a six-speed manual transmission is available with the A-Spec Technology package, which also includes adaptive dampers and a limited-slip differential. The manual transmission is highly praised for its exceptional performance.
Acura has yet to announce pricing for the 2026 Integra, but it is hoped that the new model will remain close to the 2025 pricing, which starts at $34,195 and goes up to $39,195 for the A-Spec Technology variant. Notably, the Integra is manufactured at Honda’s Marysville, Ohio plant, avoiding direct import tariffs on the vehicle itself, though some components may still be subject to duties.
