New generation Skoda Octavia officially debuted

At an event in Prague, Skoda has unveiled the new, already fifth generation of the Octavia model.

The machine is considered the leader of the compact segment. The new generation turned out longer by 19 mm (4689 mm), more full by 15 mm (1829 mm), and the wheelbase was left at 2689 mm. The trunk at the liftback grew by 10 liters, to 600 liters, at the wagon - immediately by 30 liters, to 640 liters.

The appearance of the novelty is not notably different from the past car. Among the new, there is a different radiator, taillights, 19-inch alloy wheels, and body colors.

The salon was replenished with a completely new “tidy,” a 10.25-inch touchscreen display. The current model is the first to use a 2-spoke multifunction steering wheel.

The motor in the base model is a three-cylinder 1.0-liter gasoline engine with 110 horsepower and 200 Nm. After some time, the car will receive a hybrid performance.
