Meet the new generation of Opel Mokka
Opel held the presentation of the second-generation Mokka compact SUV.
In Europe, the novelty will appear at the beginning of 2021, and the price of a car will become known later.
Opel Mokka is based on the Common Modular Platform. The Mokka body is 30% tougher. The length of the car is 4.15 m. The novelty is only front-wheel drive.
The second generation of the crossover was the first car with a completely new design Vizor. LED headlights with grille became one. Another vehicle was provided with short overhangs with a broad gauge.
The salon received an innovative Pure Panel dashboard. Mokka has a 12-inch virtual instrument control screen combined with a media touchscreen. The driver has at his disposal a system for recognizing road signs and adaptive "cruise," a lane control system, and a rear camera with a panoramic view of 180 degrees.
The most important innovation is the first appearance of an electric motor at Mokka. Power is equal to 136 horsepower and 260 Nm. On one charge, the car travels 322 km at a maximum speed of 150 km per hour.
