Opel not coming to Germany's main motor show
Opel refused to take part in the International Motor Show (IAA).
This event was held for many years in Frankfurt, but now the auto show will move to Munich.
The event will be opened in September 2021, and brands of the Stellantis alliance, such as Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Jeep, will not be its first guests. Opel will not be among them, which will concentrate on the premiere of the new generation Astra for the sake of the economy.
Volkswagen, Ford, Dacia, Renault, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Chinese brands WEY and Nio have already agreed to come to the Munich Motor Show. Other companies that will miss the event are Toyota, Kia, and Jaguar Land Rover.
