Opel Monza - this will be the name of the new electric SUV
Opel has decided on a name for its new Monza electric crossover.
A similar car is expected to be on sale in 2024.
Seven years ago, at the motor show in Frankfurt, the public saw a prototype of the Opel Monza. Many believed that the German company would create the latest model with Monza's revived name based on this car. Alas, this did not happen.
According to Auto Motor Und Sport, the electric Monza SUV will be Opel's new flagship. In length, the crossover will reach about 4.9 m.
The novelty takes on a new modular electrical architecture eVMP from PSA. Over the next five years, this platform will become the basis for compact and mid-size electric models with a range of up to 650 kilometers.
