A Street-Legal Agera RS from Koenigsegg in the US
An Agera RS from Koenigsegg is being developed completely homologated and road-legal for America.
The model was presented at this year’s Motor Show in Geneva for the first time. It is an elegant offering packing 1,160 hp. There are only 25 cars available. The 7th car in production will reach the United States. The Swedish producer received a permission to document the built from its owner.
Koenigsegg assures that the American market has not proven to be a large one for them as the biggest part of their cars are marketed in Asia, Middle East and Europe. Despite this, the automaker pays more attention, resources and time to the American market because the homologation in the country is an expensive complex process. Each new model version has to fall under this process.
The brand will document #Build128 (128 stands for the number of chassis) on the Web and social media channels (with Facebook, Instagram and Twitter among them). The car is planned to come out by the middle of 2016.
