Jaguar Land Rover accused Volkswagen of theft
Bloomberg Quint published information that Jaguar Land Rover is accusing Volkswagen of illegal use of a system called Terrain Response.
Terrain Response technology, developed and patented by Jaguar Land Rover, is used for off-road driving. It automatically detects the type of surface under the car and optimally adjusts the suspension, transmission, engine, and stabilization systems.
This technology is used in Jaguar F-Pace and Land Rover Discovery vehicles and can be operated manually using a selector lever. Jaguar Land Rover claims Volkswagen has stolen this technology and uses it in Volkswagen Atlas, Audi E-tron, Audi A6 Allroad, Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne, Lamborghini Urus. Through the court, the concern is trying to stop the sale of these cars. The process will drag on for a long time.
