Expect at XE Coupe, Wagon, Convertible, and Long Gauge from Jaguar
A representative from Jaguar gave a hint about a huge outspread for the XE of 2015 which was disclosed not long ago.
Nick Miller, who is the Jaguar XE plan leader, opened the company’s intentions for wagon and coupe editions of the XE. Also he stated about the opportunities of launching four-wheel drive and V8 variants. Ian Callum, the design director, hinted about the possibility of arriving with convertible and long gauge variants.
CarAdvice posted an interview with Callum where he says that he knows how a wagon, a coupe and a long gauge would look like. When he was asked about a probable XE Convertible, his answer was “might do”. In the same time, a four-door coupe seems to be not taken into account.
As expected, all this additory variants will have iQ[Al] platform, alike the regular XE sedan. A platform supporting a production variant of the C-X17 concept is likely to arrive either in the next year or in 2016.
