Ford Super Duty Pickups Will Gain Aluminium

Ford is coming back to aluminium in order to make its range of Super Duty pickups even better.

The American company gave its confirmation about aluminium usage for the next-generation Super Duty variants alike the Ford F-150 of 2015 at last. This fact is not a big surprise, since the variant has been speculated in the past months, as when its prototype was caught on fire and burnt during the speed testing.

It is unclear how much aluminium will enhance the Super Duty variants, though the innovated F-150 can save nearly 700 lbs per truck, what helps to save economy of the fuel, cargo volume and pushback.

The automaker has not given official information about the Super Duty arrival, but it looks like it will happen in the 2017. The automaker made a statement at the Ford’s “2020 Vision” performance to capital providers. The company also forecasted about the overall car sales. It suggested that the sales will enhance for about 45-55% around the globe by 2020.
