Introducing Fresh Hues for the 2026 C8 Corvette: Vibrant Green and Sleek Silver

Chevrolet has unveiled two exciting new color options for the 2026 C8 Corvette: Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver Metallic. These additions aim to break the monotony of traditional shades like grey, black, and white, much to enthusiasts' delight.

Roswell Green Metallic: A Bold Choice

Roswell Green Metallic marks the second green variant available for the C8 Corvette. Previously, the C8 offered Cacti Green, a pastel-toned color introduced alongside the E-Ray in 2024. However, Cacti Green was only available for a single year and was discontinued in 2025.

In contrast, Roswell Green boasts a more vibrant and eye-catching appearance, reminiscent of the striking Viper Green seen on some high-end Porsches and BMWs. The name likely pays homage to Roswell, New Mexico, adding a playful reference to the area's famous alien lore.

Blade Silver Metallic offers a contrasting option on the color spectrum, presenting a more muted and refined silver shade. This color leans towards a near-white finish, as showcased in images shared by the Corvette's official Instagram account.

The introduction of these two new colors comes as Chevrolet aims to maintain a curated selection of ten paint options for the Corvette. To make room for Roswell Green and Blade Silver, the company has discontinued Rapid Blue Metallic and Sea Wolf Gray.

Rapid Blue Metallic has been a consistent choice since the Corvette's 2019 debut, and its removal comes despite relatively low sales figures. Sea Wolf Gray, a subtle gray reminiscent of Audi’s Nardo Gray, was introduced in 2024 and quickly became a favorite among Corvette owners, making its discontinuation somewhat unexpected.

Despite these changes, Corvette enthusiasts still have access to a diverse array of colors, including standout options like Hysteria Purple, Torch Red, Sebring Orange, and Competition Yellow. Roswell Green Metallic joins a rich palette, ensuring that buyers have ample choices to personalize their C8 Corvette.
