Bugatti Bolide Thrills Drivers on Miami’s Formula 1 Circuit

Initial track time was spent behind the wheel of a McLaren 750S rather than the Bolide. This allowed drivers to get acquainted with the circuit, completing structured laps focusing on orientation, braking precision, corner exits, and line selection. After each run, detailed feedback sessions helped participants refine their technique. The process was simple yet effective: drive, learn, and improve. With each lap, the track’s character became clearer, demanding accuracy and courage through high-speed bends.
Once comfortable, drivers transitioned to the Bolide. Before tackling the circuit, they received in-depth technical instructions. The Bolide boasts immense downforce, rides on specialized racing slicks, and features a powertrain built exclusively for the track. This hypercar is a pure racing weapon, not a street vehicle.
The schedule mirrored professional racing formats, with five vigorous 45-minute segments comprising installation laps, high-speed runs, and detailed debriefings. Guests mingled with Bugatti team members such as Sascha Doering and Alexis Ploix, while Andy Wallace, Bugatti’s official test driver and 24 Hours of Le Mans champion, captivated with stories from top-tier motorsport.
