2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Pricing Starts at $41,395 with Upgraded Powertrains

Following updates to the rival Ford F-150, Chevrolet has revealed comprehensive pricing, powertrain, and equipment details for the next-generation 2027 Silverado 1500. While prices have increased across most of the lineup, the full-size pickup compensates with more standard equipment, updated styling, and significant mechanical revisions ranging from the entry-level WT to the top ZR2 trim.

The base WT model now starts at $41,395, representing a $1,700 price hike. It gains standard LED headlights and taillights, a redesigned grille, a trailer hitch, and an integrated trailer brake controller. The cabin receives major digital upgrades, swapping smaller screens for a standard 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 16.3-inch infotainment display, along with a tilting and telescoping steering wheel. Mechanically, the base 2.7-liter TurboMax turbocharged inline-four now produces 350 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic instead of the previous eight-speed transmission. Buyers can also specify a new 402-hp 5.7-liter V-8 with 428 lb-ft of torque to replace the older 5.3-liter unit, as well as a 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel inline-six. Standard active safety includes adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring with trailering support, and OnStar One.

The street-focused Custom trim starts at $46,395 (up $3,995) and adds 20-inch machined-face wheels, dual-exit exhaust, black exterior badging, remote start, and an eight-way power driver seat. Replacing the former LT is the Silverado Z71, priced from $50,695, which incorporates 18-inch dark wheels with all-terrain tires, underbody skidplates, hill descent control, and a power-sliding rear window. For dedicated off-roading, the Custom Trail Boss starts at $57,195 with a 2.0-inch suspension lift, monotube dampers, and 34-inch tires, while the more premium Trail Boss costs $63,995 and brings bucket seats, Bose audio, dual MagSafe phone mounts, and a raised hood.

At the luxury end, the High Country is priced from $74,495 and drops the four-cylinder in favor of the standard 5.7-liter V-8, adding 22-inch wheels, Super Cruise hands-free driving, a panoramic sunroof, and an 11.5-inch passenger screen. The off-road pinnacle remains the ZR2 at $79,995, powered by the 3.0-liter Duramax diesel or an optional 6.6-liter V-8. It features Multimatic DSSV spool-valve dampers, a 2.0-inch lift, 35-inch MT tires, Baja drive mode, massaging seats, and an optional AEV Bison package. Deliveries begin toward the end of 2026.
