Volkswagen ID.3 comes in its most potent version

Volkswagen CEO Ralf Brandstätter showed a photo on LinkedIn of the experimental electric hatchback ID.X, telling us a little about the car.

The novelty is based on the ID.3, having a power plant, which is more powerful and faster than all other company's electric cars.

Volkswagen engineers have reduced the weight of the car by about 200 kg. The hatchback ID.X has two electric motors (one on each axle) with a total capacity of 333 hp.

Volkswagen ID.X has a four-wheel-drive system with a drift mode, allowing more torque to the rear axle. The first hundred kilometers per hour is achieved in 5.3 seconds.

The novelty has a gray body with neon decoration and vast wheels of light alloy. The car's interior has a sports steering wheel with seats, more reinforced in the side support, trimmed with Alcantara.

In Europe, the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX will be available this summer at a minimum price of 50,400 euros.
