Tokyo Auto Show 2021 canceled

Due to the coronavirus pandemic in Japan, the organizers of the Tokyo Auto Show said that this year's event has to be canceled. 

It is necessary to add that it was the first time since 1954 when the event appeared that Tokyo Motor Show was canceled.

Toyota director Akio Toyda told mass media that it is complicated to protect guests from coronavirus under pandemic conditions. According to Toyda, Tokyo Motor Show will be held again in the future, but it will change its name to a "Mobility show." Such a moment is connected with the fact that the organizers will show different transport solutions in Japan.

Recall that the Tokyo Motor Show first opened its doors in 1954 and is held once every two years. It was necessary to cancel the show in Japan since there have been many more coronavirus cases in Japan recently.
