Mercedes unveiled the silhouette of its newest compact crossover
Mercedes-Benz has revealed a teaser of the new EQB compact crossover with an electric powertrain.
The model will debut on April 18 before opening the Shanghai Auto Show at the "EQ Night" event.
The Mercedes-Benz EQB is an electric alternative to the GLB with traditional internal combustion engines. The car's body reminds angular outlines of a standard car, but the differences will be changed optics and "closed" radiator grille. Inside, the electric vehicle can accommodate up to 7 people.
The novelty will be equipped with battery packs with a 60-110 kWh capacity, providing a mileage of 400 km on a single charge. If we believe the rumors, the crossover will have three electric motors with a 201, 268, and 335 hp choice.
In China, the Mercedes-Benz EQB will appear immediately after its premiere, and in Europe, the crossover will arrive at the end of 2021.
