VW ID. Buggy will turn into an all-terrain electric car

VW ID Buggy concept car will be an affordable off-road electric car. The release of the vehicle will be serial.

The demonstration of the Volkswagen ID Buggy prototype took place a year ago in Geneva. Most likely, a niche electric car will be created from the base of the vehicle. It was planned to be released together with the German company e.Go Mobile, but the company went bankrupt, which changed Volkswagen's plans.

The future off-road electric car will keep some details from its concept car. For example, there will be an unusual design, high ground clearance, and substantial off-road tires.
