Skoda complements Scala with a new base engine

The Czech Skoda Scala car has got some minor updates, having reached a brand new 1.0-liter engine for two power options. 

The newest unit is now the base unit of the Scala motor range. The power of the 1.0-liter engine in the first version is 95 horsepower and 175 Nm of torque, in the second - 104 horsepower and 200 Nm. The most powerful engine in the Scala range is the 1.5 TSI with 150 hp. The unit operates with a six-speed "mechanics" or 7-speed automatic transmission. 

Skoda Scala in the UK is estimated at a minimum of $20,000. 16-inch wheels complement the essential equipment, front and rear parking sensors, LED taillights, and road sign recognition.
