Mercedes began testing the most extreme variant of the latest G-Class
Mercedes-Benz is actively testing the most extreme performance of the new generation G-Class SUV - 4×4².
Carscoops informs that, like its predecessor, the new Mercedes-Benz G500 4x4² will get an improved suspension with increased ground clearance by 4.5 cm, portal axles, three limited-slip differentials, off-road tires, and additional LED optics.
A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine will power the extreme SUV. Potential output is around 585 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque.
The production of the current Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² was finished in October 2017.
