Jeep Wrangler Hybrid got a price

The hybrid version of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe debuted quite recently, but there was no information about the car's price. 

The cost of a "green" SUV is announced only now. In the U.S., the car will appear in the version Sahara 4xe and Rubicon 4xe for $47,995. More buyers will be offered a "discount" of the federal subsidy, or $7500.

The power plant of the gas-electric Jeep Wrangler 4xe is made of a 2.0 liter tumbled V4 and two electric motors. Total power equals 380 hp and 637 Nm. Under the seats in the back, there is a 17-kilowatt-hour traction battery, which allows driving a maximum of 40 km without the internal combustion engine's help. The engine is paired with an 8-band automatic and permanent all-wheel drive in the basic version. The first 97 km/h hybrid picks up in six seconds.

The Wrangler 4xe Hybrid will be on the market in the first quarter of 2021.
