Frankfurt Motor Show ceases to exist in 2021

Last year, the German Association of the Automotive Industry ended a contract with the Messe Frankfurt exhibition center, which means that the International Motor Show in Frankfurt will no longer be held since 2021.

In the coming weeks, exhibition organizers will choose a new city. Among the primary candidates are Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich. However, the transfer of the car dealership will not be one solution to the situation, since the concept of the car dealership will change until 2021 to make participation in it more attractive for global companies.

By the way, in 2019, such brands as Nissan, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Citroen, Infiniti, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Rolls-Royce, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, and Volvo were not involved in Frankfurt. At another auto show in Geneva 2019, Ford and Volvo did not participate. This year the Geneva exhibition is not counted by Lamborghini, and Paris 2020 will miss Volkswagen.
