Electric Audi e-Tron GT is already in production

Audi said it had started producing the e-tron GT electric sedan at its facility in Neckarsulm, Germany, although no sports car has been officially unveiled.

The novelty is the first one hundred percent electrified car of the company on Germany's assembly line. We add that the e-tron GT electric sports car's assembly has been launched at the most technologically advanced enterprise of the company - Böllinger Höfe.

The plant's assembly lines use clean, ecological electricity, which is obtained from renewable energy sources. Also, robotics are used in the automotive production process, and therefore there are no carbon emissions.

Officially, the Audi e-Tron GT will debut in 2021. For the new product, the company will take orders from the second quarter of next year. The estimated price of new items will be about $100,000.
