The updated Volkswagen Passat wagon got more sportiness

Volkswagen showed a sports version of the Passat R-Line wagon.

The novelty will appear in a limited edition, and an official debut will be held at the Geneva motor show.

Volkswagen Passat Variant R-Line Edition got 2.0-liter supercharged units on gasoline and diesel, with a capacity of 272 and 240 'horses.' Each car is equipped with a 4Motion all-wheel-drive system with adaptive-type shock absorbers.

The exterior differs from the simple wagon in black mirrors, a roof spoiler, a black diffuser in the back and darkened LED optics.

The novelty was equipped with a fully digital 'tidy,' multimedia with a 9.2-inch touchscreen, an overview system, and adaptive cruise control.

On sale will be 2,000 parts of Volkswagen Passat Variant R-Line Editions.
