Maserati will no longer receive Ferrari engines

At a conference call following the results of the 1st quarter of 2019, Ferrari announces that they would stop supplying the engines that were intended for Maserati.

The reason is the minimum shipment volumes with the partner’s unwillingness to renew the contract. For the 1st quarter, Ferrari's revenues from its engines reached 58 million euros. This amount includes the net revenues from the sale of Maserati engines with revenues from the rental of engines for Formula 1 teams.

The decrease, compared with the same period of 2018, is 23.4%. By the way, Maserati has been using Ferrari engines for the past 17 years.
