Ferrari opens the curtain of its first SUV

Ferrari talked a little about the first crossover in their history, which will appear in 2022.

The car calls Purosangue. Michael Lighter, the company's technical director, announced this to Autocar. 

A machine with an index of 175 will be one of the 15 brand new models that will be presented by the company until 2023 inclusive. The novelty creates on the latest front-engine base, which in the future will appear in supercars of the GT family.

Michael Lighter said that the company's goal is to open a different segment for Ferrari. The necessary concept has been found. It will help to design the real all-terrain vehicle, significantly distinguishing it from existing cars.

The new architecture was made to incorporate V6, V8, V12 engines, hybrid units, and an automatic dual-clutch gearbox.
