Volkswagen Passat appeared on official pictures

Volkswagen released the first design drawings of the new generation Passat sedan for the USA.

Publicly debut Volkswagen made in Detroit-2019, which opens in January.

Passat is similar in size to the new Jetta, which was presented at the last Detroit auto show. For example, Passat has got horizontal elements on a huge radiator and LED headlamps of a standard design.

The basis novelty is an improved platform of the last performance - the sedan didn't receive the modular MQB base. In its equipment there is a modernized 2.0-liter 4-cylinder petrol unit, developing a similar 176 "horses" with 280 Nm.
