Declassified an exterior of the open BMW 8-Series

The Belgian edition of Autotijd distributed the first official pictures of the open version new BMW 8-Series sportscar.

Publicly convertible will be declassified next month at the motor show in Los Angeles.

The photo shows the top version of the BMW 8-Series Convertible with the M850i xDrive index. The car will have a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 for 530 'horses' and 750 Nm. The engine works with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

A coupe with a similar power unit accelerates to 'hundred' in 3.7 seconds. Most likely, the heavier convertible is gaining the first 100 km/h in 4 seconds. The maximum you can accelerate to 250 km per hour.

The BMW 8-Series Convertible will appear on the shelves in the first decade of next year.
