Cadillac cars will have an autopilot in 2020

Cadillac will start sell their models with the proprietary system of semi-automatic ride Super Cruise from 2020.

Press service of the company writes that now the Super Cruise can only be seen in Cadillac CT6 flagship sedan. The system operates to the front radar Lidar with a set of cameras that provide an overview. Another orientation in space is due to the GPS-navigator with cartographic service.

The American company taught electronics to control the steering, accelerator and brakes, when driving a car on the highway. The driver is obliged to monitor the road to take control at any time.

Cadillac still reports that in 5 years will begin to use technology V2X (Vehicle-to-everything), which is to be expected in the "new mass crossover". Such a system was required to scan the space to 300 m ahead.
