BMW will revive the 8-Series coupe
BMW announced the 8-Series will be back like a coupe. The Germans distributed the first photo of the machine, which hints at the future design of the car from its rear body part.
The public will see the car this summer.
The coupe in the serial appearance will retain the features of the concept with the same name, shown in May 2017. However, the car will acquire traditional side mirrors, other optics in the front and a little remodeled grille.
The revived BMW 8-Series will be made on a scalable CLAR base, now present in the latest 5-Series and 7-Series. It is expected that many engines will appear, starting with 2.0-liter V4, ending with 6.6-liter 12-cylinder units. The most popular variants of motors in cars will be 6- and 8-cylinder engines.
