Volkswagen Experiences A Strong Demand For Amarok V6

A customer who bought a Volkswagen Amarok V6 paid 107 % of the vehicle’s retail price.

At auction.

The auctioned unit was a VW Amarok 6-cylinder Ultimate. It was sold for $73,250.

VW Australia commercial cars director stated that the latest 6-cylinder has stirred up unprecedented interest.

The company is oversubscribed and cannot get enough of the Ultimate versions. That is usual for a new vehicle, but they sold an ex-company demonstrator at auction that sold for $5000 more than the retail price for a new unit.

Product marketing manager at VW Australia says that the company has experienced a large demand for the upgraded Amarok with V6 sales confirming key to the formula.
