The 1st Lamborghini Centenario Roadster Entered the U.S.

The 1st Centenario Roadster from Lamborghini has been delivered in America.

The model under consideration and its hardtop counterpart were developed in honour of the 100th birthday of Feruccio Lamborghini, the company’s founder. There will be only 40 units built (20 roadsters and 20 coupes). By the way, all of them have been already sold. The roadster variant is the more costly unit. The hardtop costs $2.2 million USD while the roofless unit is $2.4 million.

The example which has been already delivered features a glossy bare carbon fibber body with some yellow accents, black brake callipers and silver wheels. The colour scheme inside is similar. The car boasts Nero Ade leather and Alcantara covering for the seats, doors, helm and dash.

The Centenario uses a 770 hp variant of the company’s 6.5-litre twelve-cylinder unit. It is joined to a 7-speed gearbox and is able to sprint from 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds. The top speed goes up to 207 mph.
