Rezvani Introduces Armored Edition of Lamborghini Urus

Rezvani is once again breaking boundaries with their newest creation. The exclusive exotic car manufacturer, celebrated for its unconventional fighter jet-inspired designs, has launched an SUV based on the Lamborghini Urus. Named the Rezvani Knight, this model showcases the distinctive and bold styling typical of the California-based brand, combined with a formidable twin-turbo V-8 engine that delivers up to 800 horsepower.

The Knight distinguishes itself from the standard Urus with its flat gunmetal grey finish and sharp, angular body panels. Features such as narrow exterior lighting, a rooftop light bar, and a substantial rear spoiler enhance its unique appearance. Additionally, the SUV is equipped with hefty fender flares for 22-inch wheels and 33-inch all-terrain tires, indicating serious off-road capabilities.

Enhanced Performance

CEO Ferris Rezvani stated, "Our objective was to push the boundaries by blending aggressive supercar design and performance with everyday practicality and off-road functionality."

Under the hood, the Knight utilizes the Urus's twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine, tuned to deliver up to 800 horsepower based on buyer preferences. This marks a 143-horsepower increase over the previous-generation Urus and an 11-horsepower boost from the new hybrid Urus SE. Despite the modest increase compared to the hybrid model, Rezvani guarantees a 0-60 mph acceleration time of just 3.0 seconds—nearly half a second faster than the hybrid-assisted Urus.

Dark Knight Package

The Knight's standout feature is the optional "Dark Knight" package. This comprehensive upgrade transforms the SUV into an armored vehicle. By selecting this option, customers receive bulletproof glass and body panels, underbody explosion protection, military-grade run-flat tires, a steel reinforced bumper, and a fortified suspension system.

Inside, the Dark Knight package includes essential defensive equipment such as gas masks, a first aid kit, a pepper spray dispenser, an intercom system, and a selection of optional sirens, horns, and strobe lights. This package ensures preparedness for various situations, providing both solutions and deterrents as needed.

Exclusivity and Pricing

Consistent with Rezvani's approach, the Knight is both premium-priced and highly exclusive. The company plans to produce only 100 units, each starting at $149,000, exclusive of the base vehicle cost. When adding the Dark Knight package, it's expected that some of the fully equipped Knights could surpass the half-million-dollar mark.
